Solid wire for TIG welding, FW 1280 comes in a bright finish and, under ideal welding conditions, produces a smooth flow, stable arc, and no spatter. Weld deposits of radiographic grade are produced. In caustic soda service and maritime environments, weld metal improved corrosion resistance. It is appropriate for joining pure nickel alloys with UNS numbers N02200 or N02201 in wrought and cast forms, such as ASTM B160, B161, B162, and B163.

CURRENT AND PACKING DATA:

STANDARD SIZE : Diameter 1.6 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.4 mm & 3.2 mm in cut lengths of 1000 mm each.

QUANTITY : 5 kg wire put in an air-tight polythene bag and finally packed in a plastic container.

Identification AWS code is punched on each wire.
